In Mekorma for Business Central why is the check printing in the middle of the page?

Symptoms

When printing checks using the Mekorma Super Stub layout, the check prints too high on the page, appearing closer to the middle instead of aligning with the check stock.

Cause

This is controlled by the Check Stub Size setting on the Bank Account > Mekorma Settings page.

The Check Stub Size defines the vertical space reserved for the remittance (stub) section. If this value is set too low or below 30, the stub area shrinks and the check is pulled upward on the page.

Resolution

  1. Go to Bank Account Card
  2. Open Mekorma Settings
  3. Locate Check Stub Size
  4. Set the value to 30 for the Mekorma Super Check layout

How It Works

  • The Check Stub Size controls the height of the stub region above the check.
  • As you reduce the value, the check moves up the page (appears too high).

A value of 30 ensures the stub region is sized correctly so the check remains in its proper position on the page for the standard Mekorma Super Check format.

Notes

  • This setting is specific to each bank account.
  • If using custom layouts or non-standard check stock, minor adjustments may be required.
  • Always test alignment before printing live checks.
