We added a new GP company. The client will not be using Mekorma in this company so we set it to 'Disabled' at Mekorma Table Maintenance. After this procedure when the end user logs into this new company in GP they receive the error: "An open operation on table ME_Enhanced_Security failed accessing SQL data"
The issue pertains to missing tables. You may still disable after running the following routine known to resolve the issue. Note, disable companies configuration will only work when users assign to the disabled company are also assigned to an Alternate Modified Forms and Reports ID other than the one tied to Mekorma. Two Alternate Modified Forms and Reports ID's are required for the configuration:
1. Log into GP as 'sa' and open Mekorma Table Maintenance
2. Select the new database and choose to 'Process and Enable'. This will create tables for the new database.
3. You may now mark to 'Disable' the database in question.
4. To suppress future warnings regarding the disabled company, go to the Mekorma System Options > Additional Tab. Choose 'suppress warnings'.
5. In the GP User security window, choose the user and the company that will not use Mekorma.
6. Choose an Alternate/Modified Forms and Report Id that does not use Mekorma windows for the Payables Transaction check or the Payables checks.
