Why does Mekorma require GP to be 'Run as Administrator' upon installation?
Upon installation of Mekorma build x88 and later if upon GP login you are prompted to 'Run As Admin' after installation, this is due to the presence of the Mekorma Remote Payment Services Addin. Mekorma requires Dynamics GP to be 'Run As Admin' after installation to complete the event viewer creation for the Mekorma Remote Payment Services product.
RECOMMENDATION: The Implementor of Mekorma in addition to being a SQL Administrator should also be a Windows Administrator for the machine(s) where Mekorma is installed.
