Where do I need to go to purchase licensing for the PowerApprovals product?

Determine the number of approvers that will be using PowerApprovals. The number of PowerApps licenses is the number of approvers plus 1 more for the service account user as this is a requirement for PowerApprovals to function.

• E.g., If you have 3 approvers, you’ll need 4 licenses.
Note also that you’ll only need a license for people that will be using PowerApprovals to approve batches. Staff members that are approvers
from Dynamics GP exclusively will not require a license.

• E.g., There are 3 approvers (Bob, Todd, and Bill).
o Bob is the owner and does not want to login to GP. He wants to approve batches exclusively from his
phone
o Todd is a Dynamics GP user but wishes approve batches from his phone occasionally
o Bill only works in Dynamics GP and will only approve batches from GP.

In the above example, you’ll need to purchase 3 licenses
o One license for Bob
o One license for Todd
o One license for the service account

You can purchase licenses via the instructions below.

1. Open your browser and go to the Power Apps Pricing portal •  https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/

2. From here you can choose one of the two plans

  • Power Apps per app plan (P1)

➢ $5 per month per user

➢ Run one app or portal per user for one flat monthly rate.

  • Power Apps per user plan (P2)

➢ $20 per month per user
➢ Run unlimited apps and portals per user for one flat monthly rate.

Most clients opt for the P1 plan because it is cheaper, and they do not use other Power Apps. Only purchase the P2 license for users that will be using many Power Apps. You can always upgrade the license from P1 to P2 in the future.

Once the licenses have been purchased, they must be assigned to the Power Platform environment where PowerApprovals will be installed. If you require further assistance implementing the product please contact support@mekorma.com
