Error in PowerApprovals: “The Gateway is either offline or could not be reached”

Issue:  Attempting to use the PowerApprovals application, receiving "The specified record was not found. Server Response:  meUserPreferences failed. The Gateway is either offline or could not be reached." 

 

Resolution: You will need to go to Windows Services on the machine hosting the On-premises Data Gateway and restart the On-premises data gateway service.
