Why are overflow stubs printing unexpectedly?
Please note: When you set a multi-lined field such as a Voucher field to any amount less than what you expect to fit on the page, overflow will generate in order to print the remaining line items on a per page basis.
For example, we have commonly found clients attempting to use the Voucher::Transaction Description field in the check region for a one-lined memo. This would only work properly if it were the case that all payments would be restricted to one line. Otherwise the number of overflow pages would be a function of the number of line items.
Since this is likely not the case that only single line item payments would be processed, we do not recommend the practice of placing multi-lined fields intended for the stub region onto the check face. You may use for example one of the check memo fields or perhaps pursue a custom solution depending on your business need.
