How do I set up the check number for Mekorma MICR?

The bank will dictate how many digits to use and which cell locations the digits should occupy.

1.    Input the check number in the Dynamics GP Checkbook Maintenance screen. For example "000001".
2.    Input "X"s in the MICR Line Setup field cell locations on the Mekorma MICR setup screen.
What do I need to enter in the MICR Line Setup field when using Pre-printed check stock?
If you use Pre-printed check stock that already contains the MICR line, you still need to enter "X"s in the Mekorma MICR setup screen to avoid getting a message at print time regarding the setup and the check number length.
