Why is my signature not printing in Task Based Security?

If you have imported the signature image to the Signature Library, and it appears as available in all companies, in may be the case that it will not print in some companies.

Upon import from within the GP company you are logged into, all available companies will display with check boxes. If those boxes are not marked, this becomes default. If this is bypassed and user(s) is/are assigned signature, then Threshold ID will be determined based on this. 

 

From Case Notes:

I tested importing a signature; it imported into the company that I was logged into and the additional companies were displayed with selection checkboxes.
I then went to the Assign Signature window and assigned the signature to a user that had access to the additional companies.
The Signature library displayed with yellow icons as having the signature available in those companies. This would be true if the Threshold id used for the checkbooks in that company were set to use the user's assigned signature and not a default signature.
While in the Threshold Maintenance window and choosing the signature lookup and selecting the default view of the signature library, the signature file would not be displayed as it is associated with the user.
Please remove the signature id from the user in the Signature assignment window. Please select the signature file in the signature library and select the companies to make it available. Now go back to the signature assignment and assign the signature to the user.
The signature file will display in the Default view of the Signature lookup and in the User Lookup view.
