I have verified that the MICR line is in the correct position, but the MICR line did not pass the bank's inspection.

MICR PRINTER CHECKLIST

·       Set the Economy Mode setting to "Off".

·       Set the DPI to 600.

·       Set toner density level to the default or up to two numbers higher.

·       Use high quality MICR toner cartridges only.

·       Do not use re-furbished or recycled toner cartridges.

 

*Please  take note: In our experience it is not advisable to send checks to banks for the express purpose of testing. If you have verified the MICR line is properly aligned on the check stock, please do not request of the bank to confirm proper alignment. We induce that banks run a test process more rigorous in comparison to their live scanning methods.
